From creating the A4 map recreation I then looked back at the work that was around CSA. I wanted to combine the idea of looking at line and structure with the idea of wiring and how these wires can itself create a similar pattern. I also wanted to look at negative and positive space and show how effective this is for emphasizing shape, lines and textures. I pitched my proposal, with some test shots, to Gabor and he pointed out that I should look at the ignored; the spaces within Canterbury School of Architecture that possibly people do not pay attention to. I loved that idea as previously in a project last year I looked at the ignored. My plan next was to go and take some images at Canterbury of wires or other things around the uni which students would not particularly take notice of.
